If a shawl, lap robe or childrens’ blanket is needed for someone in need of comfort, it is available through the Prayer Shawl Ministry. These are prayed over, a cross sewn on, blessed, and a card inserted. It could be for a serious illness, homebound, hospital, nursing homes, etc. Many who have received one said to feel the love of God in it when they put one on.
