Tim grew up in the Triangle area, attending St. Thomas More in Chapel Hill and went to Catholic school through high school. He’s always been the “church kid” and decided to pursue a degree in theology at Belmont Abbey College, where he received the departmental award for excellence. After graduation, Tim felt called to pursue a Master of Divinity, a professional degree for pastors, at Duke University (despite growing up in Chapel Hill, Tim has always been a Duke fan). He’s worked in the Diocese of Raleigh for over 15 years in youth ministry, faith formation, and liturgy, and has a passion for ministry and sacraments. Tim likes to spend his free time with his wife, Leslie, and their five children. He enjoys comic books, video games, and talking about theology.
