Feed the Need and Caring Casseroles
Feed the Need helps provide cooked meals to families in our parish who are adjusting to life’s challenges.
Volunteer cooks are always needed and welcome.
If you regularly come to St. Francis in the morning the Feed the Need Ministry could use your help.
We need a volunteer(s) to help one morning a week with putting out casseroled for families.
Caring Casseroles
Volunteers bring freezer ready casseroles to the Feed the Need refrigerator on the first weekend of each month.
Meals are used to help those dealing with life’s challenges.
Volunteers can cook when ever and as often as they would like as the donations are always welcome and needed.
If you are looking for a great service project for you ministry, groups, class etc. this would be easy, fun and rewarding.
We are also in need of volunteer(s) one time a month to re-wrap the casseroles we receive and put them in the freezer.

Calling All Cooks! - More Casseroles Needed
Our Feed the Need ministry is feeling the heat!
We’re low on casseroles and cooks for regularly scheduled meals.
Most of our families are small this summer, so if you have time to make a couple of extra helpings of whatever you’re cooking for your family, consider signing up to coo a meal for a family. If you’re more a “spur of the moment” cook, consider making a casserole recipe that can be frozen.
If the recipe says, “serves 4”, please divide the casserole into two containers
as it will serve two of our families.
