Faith Formation for youth in 6th through 12th grades

Cross Train (grades 6-8) and Cross Road (grades 9-12) are St. Francis of Assisi’s faith formation programs.  Centered on the mass, each small group based session will afford  its youth participants an opportunity to build their personal relationship with Christ while participating in fun activities and sharing fellowship with friends.  Our Sunday Cross Train and Cross Road meet after  the 5:30 PM mass on Sundays from mid-September through early June.

Small Group Leaders assist our Program Coordinators by encouraging youth participants to participate in discussion regarding the evening’s topic.  Small Group Leaders (SGL’s) guide their group members through lessons and activities created and provided by our youth coordinators.  SGL’s ensure youth remain focused, engaged and on topic while in small group.  After each session, SGL’s are asked to assist with dismissal and remain on campus until all youth in their group have been safely picked up.

Adult Presence Coordinators assist with youth sign-in and ensure youth remain in their designated areas until the session has ended.  Once the session has ended, Adult Presence Volunteers are asked to remain on campus and assist with dismissal until all youth are picked up.
