The Catholic Community of St Francis of Assisi
Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

With the reported increase in the numbers of Coronavirus cases in the United States and concern growing in our local community, The Catholic Community of St Francis of Assisi offers the following communication.

Based on the directives from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and in the interest of the public’s health, Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama is directing that
all enclosed masses in the Diocese of Raleigh are cancelled until further notice.

We Invite You to Join Us

Join us for Mass streaming live.
There are four ways to watch:

1.) Right here on the SFA webpage
2) Watch our SFA Churchonline webpage.
3.) Watch on Youtube
4.) Watch from our SFA Facebook Page.

In addition to all of the practical and precautionary measures that are being implemented, we are concerned about the financial effect this will have on the parish. As we are currently in the process of completing our Census and Commit cards to the parish, lower Sunday Mass attendance will affect our parish finances and responses to the committment of the parish.  If you have not completed your census card or you are not currently using online giving, this is a good chance to consider doing so.  Also, if you give to the Sunday collection and are not able to come to church for one or more Sundays, please consider accounting for any missed Masses in your next offertory contribution.
