As I write this on June 23, it’s the day before a group from the parish travels to Morocco for a ten-day trip; our parish group that traveled to El Salvador as part of a Habitat For Humanity build has returned and all reports are that it was a successful trip. Our Morocco group returns on July 3.
We also have good news to report that Fr. Jim Sabak is now officially assigned to St. Francis for the longer term, and not just through June 30 of this year. Jim, as we’ve seen, has a great background and knowledge of liturgy and sacramental theology, and has been a welcome presence here at St. Francis. We are happy he’s staying. He will, however, be away for much of the summer as he had some prior commitments from before his time with us at St. Francis.
Blessings on your week!
