Last weekend I spent a few days at Lovell Lake in New Hampshire, not far from the Maine border. My family has had a house in that area for 40 years. The house is by the water, and even when it’s hot outside, the lake makes everything cooler – good for a swim or paddling a kayak or, at night, sitting out on the dock and looking up at the night sky and seeing stars and sometimes what looks like shooting stars. I was glad to have a few days among family and friends up there, as we turn the calendar into August. Thanks to Fr. Larry Anderson who helped out here the past few weekends.
Blessings on your week!
