Education is a central objective of the Franciscan Coalition. To be formed properly for the work of justice and peace to which we are called, we must first be informed about the injustice and violence that plagues this world – as well as the church’s teaching regarding these matters that we might better discern our proper and just response.
To this end, the Coalition offers numerous educational programs for parishioners and the larger community. These programs range from ongoing speaker series to facilitated discussions on specific advocacy issues to intensive 5-10 week courses on emergent issues of justice and peace.
