Welcome

Our mission is to assist communities in their recovery efforts following devastating damage from hurricanes and natural disasters such as Ike and Katrina.  We do so by organizing and sending multiple delegations to hard-hit regions – lending time, talent, and treasure.

Working under the auspices and guidance of programs such as Mercy Response of Vineyard Churches Clear Lake in Webster Texas; St. Francis delegates assist in the cleaning and rebuilding of affected homes, usually working side-by-side with the homeowners so that they can eventually return to their homes and neighborhoods.

Seven parishioners traveled to Biloxi Mississippi the week of October 12, 2008 to continue rebuilding homes destroyed from Hurricane Katrina.

Our next delegation will be traveling to Galveston, TX from Sunday, March 22 to Saturday, March 28 of 2009.  Galveston continues to rebuild after the devastation of Hurricane Ike.  We will help them continue the process of gutting and rebuilding homes and address the needs of those affected by this disaster
