JUSTICE THEATRE PROJECT

The Justice Theater Project is an advocacy, activist theater group inspired by the social justice teaching and tradition of the Catholic Church.  The mission of The Justice Theater Project is to use the dramatic arts as a way to call to the fore of public attention the needs of the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed.

Justice Theater Project will be showcasing the topic of immigration with the play, The Line in the Sand: Stories from the US/Mexico Border runs June 6, 7, 13 & 14 at 8 pm and June 8 & 15 at 2pm.  The Line in the Sand was written by a group of actors and writers from Catholic Relief Services who, in 2005, interviewed people on both sides of the border and all sides of the issue.
