The Healthcare Team takes their lead from the Gospel imperative captured in Luke 10.9:

“…go, heal the sick, and tell them the Kingdom of God has come near to them.” 

We seek to advocate a just, equitable, and sustainable healthcare system which is attentive to the needs of the most vulnerable – not just those who can afford access and attention.  As a group of healthcare practitioners and concerned laypeople, we are working to continue the legacy of St. Francis' care for the indigent leper by advocating a system where 'everyone is in and no one is out.'

If you are interested in joining our efforts, we would be overjoyed to have you be a part of the team.  We meet regularly to discuss recent developments in legislation and strategize avenues for advocacy.
