Volunteers assist and comfort our bereaved families by offering hospitality and a light reception allowing the family an opportunity to receive the condolences from their guests.  

We have volunteer shoppers who purchase all our supplies as needed.

Our reception volunteers are scheduled on a rotating basis every 4 weeks in teams of two. The time commitment is approximately 1.5 hours for set-up, replenish or clean-up. Part time help (subs) are called upon when a regular volunteer is unable to cover their scheduled spot. Subs must able to serve at least 4-5 times a year.
