Vision

Family Life ministry is rooted in the Mission of the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, which states “We believe that our Earth and all life is sacred, that all people are gifted with God’s grace and called to build God’s kingdom on earth…We are one family, living in community, confronted, challenged, and comforted by the Word of God, reaching out to all persons and their families…We welcome with joy all those who come to us and invite them into the life of our community.


Mission

Based on the teachings of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and on our parish’s continuous work to aid families of all kinds to become domestic church, Family Life Ministry here at the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi includes:

• Preparation for the Sacraments of Marriage and Baptism (up to age 7)
• Newly-Married Couples
• Sustaining Lifetime Marriages
• Family Prayers and Activities
• Inter-church and Same-church marriages
• Gay & Lesbian Ministry
• Seniors and their Families
• Men’s Ministry
• Women’s Network
• Young Adults
• Adoption Ministry
