EUCHARISTIC MINISTRIES

Read below to find out more about Pastoral Care Eucharistic Ministries:

EMs to the Abbotswood Living Center
Volunteers join parishioners at Abbotswood living center in a liturgical service the first Tuesday of each month. This is the St. Francis' way of keeping in touch through prayer and visitations.

EM's to the Homebound
The Catholic Community of St. Francis provides the Eucharist on a weekly basis to those individuals who are unable to attend liturgies at St. Francis on the weekends. If you know of anyone unable to attend weekend liturgies whether for a short amount of time or permanently, please send an email to
Jackie Adamo
or call 919-847-8205 ext. 268 and let her know who would like this service. At present, we are also looking for conscientious individuals to step forward to serve as Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound. Currently, we have a number of parishioners who are homebound and unable to attend weekend liturgies.

Volunteers join the parishioners and residents of the Meadow's Senior Living Community in a Communion Prayer service every Saturday at 5 P.M.  It is through this outreach that St. Francis is keeping in touch with this extended community with prayer and visitation.
