Happy Easter!

On this Easter Sunday, all of us at St. Francis extend a welcome to all, to those who have been coming for the 30+ years that our parish has been here, to those who are here for the first time, and to everyone in between. The dry season of Lent has given way to the spring season of Easter, with its images of a stone rolled away from a dark tomb, and the astonishment of the previously dejected disciples as they came to realize that the life of their Lord had not ended in vain, but that He and his words and his vision of an inclusive and abundant kingdom of God were alive among us.

Thank you to all who helped decorate our church for Easter, to all who helped with our liturgies, and a special note of welcome to those who were received into the church at the Vigil on Saturday night.

Blessings on your week!
