Dear Brothers and Sisters, Recently we received a letter of appreciation from Catholic Parish Outreach:

On behalf of the people we serve at Catholic Parish Outreach, we want to thank The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi for the generous donations during the St. Francis “Feed a Family” food drive. The response from St. Francis was overwhelming, with a donation of 7,700 pounds of groceries and $2,958 for families in need. In September we gave a week’s worth of groceries to a record 9,461 people. Our outreach ministry to the needy would not be possible without the assistance of the members of St. Francis of Assisi.

We also received a letter from The Center for Volunteer Caregiving: Partners in Aging and Disability serving Wake County since 1992.

The Center for Volunteer Caregivers gratefully acknowledges St. Francis of Assisi’s gift. Thanks to your generosity we are able to continue providing assistance to older adults and adults with disabilities throughout Wake county. Your gift makes a difference. The continuing partnership in caregiving with St. Francis is very important to all of us at the Center.

Thank you for your generosity to St. Francis. Because of our 10% tithe to peace and justice, we are able to contribute to those in need in our community.

In the peace of Christ,

Fr. Mark
